I think most of the reason people don't go to the NBL these days like they used to when packed houses were the norm in Adelaide, Melbourne, Brisbane etc is purely a cost thing. Unfortunately its expensive for the average fan to go to the basketball these days, as good as the night or afternoon out is.

Its so sad how low the NBL has gone now since their glory days. The Government needs to set up a commission, similar to the one they did for Soccer to try and fix the NBL.

look at the state of australian basketball now. It should be moved away from summer and back to where it was in it's glory days
