The Male role is so attractive and looks so domineering yet delicate in his colorful outfit and sky high platform shoes.
I just love it when they show emperors in towering platform shoes.
Are there any other films like this?
I really like it when the emperor is the one rescued by the female role who can fight well.

Oops! I misspoke. Looks like edenstrauss2008 was merely indicating that "Goddess River Luo" is "Luo-Shen" in Chinese. Do you happen to know the name of this one? Also, I see that you have a 10 minute video posted titled "Chinese Nanyin Opera-Tale of Goddess River Luo". Is that the actual "Goddess River Luo" opera? Seems like it from the set, dress, and that the music style is nanyin (nanguan)

Hi it's ok; in fact I just realised that it's called "Luo-Shen" in Chinese... As I continued watching the show, I realised that it's nothing about supernatural powers or even gods :P My history in chinese is really very limited, and I've slow reflexes when watching movies, so got confused myself :D

It's a story written by Cao cao's son Cao Zhi, who met this beautiful lady by the Luo Riverside. She is so beautiful just like a goddess.Maybe that's the name it comes.
