I go over the awesome kindness all of you have shown and I briefly discuss the different types of Japanese yen notes.

Thanks for watching!

  • This might be a bit of a random question, but since the bills are a bit bigger in japan, are japanese wallets bigger? Since my american bills just fit in my wallet, any more and they'd probably rip or fold a lot from sticking out

  • @GrayXIII I bought my current wallet in America and it just fits the Japanese notes, so you might want to get a new wallet when you get here, since they are built to accommodate the larger notes

  • I already subbed to P4J =D

    Thanks for sharing..

Are you in the same apartment as last time?

  • @markshmily I find out this month if I can keep this apartment - I think I'll be able to stay, but should confirm by the end of the month

  • On the ¥10000 Fukuzawa Yukichi who was very influential in embracing western thinking during the Meiji restoration.

  • Some years (7) ago i accept two bills yet $2 never folded.

  • cool vid abt the currencies! do u know if older versions of currencies are still accepted? I have a couple of 1963 itoh hirobumi 1000 yens. BTW i think the new 1000 y ur holding now is hideyo noguchi

  • Apparently another way to help Japan (albeit obscure but funny) iswww. myconfinedspace. com/wp-content/uploads/tdomf/198357/qydn2.jpg

  • You're a good guy, Jason. Hope your contributing argonauts' money can extract a smile and a flicker of hope from such splintered-out devastation. I would just go nuts. I'm glad you're not like me and are back in Japan.

  • Cool video! The thread feeling in the dollar is because it's made from cotton and linen.

  • In Britain our notes increase in size, as value increases, Such as £5 is smaller then £10, which is smaller then £20 which is smaller then £50, so I don't know if it has anything to do with that :)
