@golenik I can relate, I'm either spinning plates or running on the hamster wheel of life.

For 35 years in business I have compared my duties figuratively to this act on the Ed Sullivan Show. It is as clear a description today as ever, though half the people I explain it to have no idea what I'm talking about. Thanks to this 3-minute clip, there is a ready visual reference.

@patchesdf Funny you mention autistics, because I remembered this act when it was first performed in 1969. Being a teacher of special ed kids is like handling those plates on sticks in that you've got to keep going back and forth from one to another getting them back on course or they'll fall to pieces.
