Something had to give all right,, her life! She was abused by all of her men, except ONE, a real man, Joe D!!!!!!! He loved her to the end of his life, and made sure that fresh roses would be placed at her grave site forever! It's sex that got her killed, and us guys never learn,, do we!!!

@geetarnut ~ wait...Im not being confrontational...just wondering. What do you mean "us guys"? Meaning men...or we women as a whole? Women tend to be emotional, and its hard to seperate logic from feelings...IF we have strong, smart female role models....it makes it a wee bit easier to do whats best for us to do so.#1 reason for men to be "there" for their daughters...show them thru example how women should be treated & respected..so they grow up knowing their "worth", not merely as objects.

@bulabula80 : I agree with you, I guess she had been superb in this film , also Breakfast for Tiffanys was for Marilyn and Audrey Hepburn stole her that role.
Marilyn would have been magnificent in "Irma la douce" and in "Of human bondage" ! that it was thought for her. I love Kim Novak performance but I think Marilyn could have done the role of career in "Of human bondage"

It was amazing to see all this sgtg footage of marilyn when i got this in the early 1990s. But the way some speak about marilyn on this show makes me want to vomit. they really are scum bags. Talk about propaganda. this show is the perfect example of it. all against marilyn.
