If "-eu" is meant to be pronounced as in "chartreuse," and has a slight "r" sound, then "Jeung" would be parsed as "ju(r)ng."

Has anyone ever mispronounced the Cantonese word for "five" as "Eng"?

That's why I'm so glad I grew up with Cantonese. I've got the tones down pat, just have to relearn the grammar and vocab.
what romanization standard are you using? I heard in this video J is pronounced as "DZ". This is not Jyutping,... is it?
