This is the 2nd part of the recording.

As with the 1st part, I DO NOT HOLD ANY COPYRIGHTS OF THIS RECORDING AND IT BELONGS TO HODDER & STOUGHTON AND AUTHORS HUGH BAKER AND HO PUI KEI

It took me 3 hours to create both parts as I'm new to video uploading. So, for now, this is my best effort and I hope you enjoy it.

  • what romanization standard are you using? I heard in this video J is pronounced as "DZ". This is not Jyutping,... is it?

  • This is the Yale romanisation

  • I find these two videos to be very helpful. I hope that you upload more from this series. Thanks!

  • @ClassicTVMan1981X I just say it like "mm" because that's how my friend who knows Cantonese told me to say it, lol.

  • If "-eu" is meant to be pronounced as in "chartreuse," and has a slight "r" sound, then "Jeung" would be parsed as "ju(r)ng."

  • Has anyone ever mispronounced the Cantonese word for "five" as "Eng"?

  • Sorry think I hit dislike unintentionally. I'm not sure how to undo it. It's a very useful tutorial. Keep up the great work!

  • Thank god i learned this when I was 2, otherwise this would be impossible.

  • @seoulhangungmal

    Then what about "jung1 gwok3" (Pinyin: zhong1 guo2)?
