Norton Mezvinsky (PhD, Mezvinsky is currently (2010) Presidnet of President of the International Council of Middle East Studies in Washington DC. Educated at . University of Wisconsin-Madison 1959) is the Former professor in the History Department at Central Connecticut State University. Mezvinsky, a native of Ames, Iowa, earned his B.A. at the University of Iowa and his M.A. and Ph.D. from the University of Wisconsin. Following post-doctoral studies at Harvard University, Dr. Mezvinsky began his academic career at the University of Michigan. He joined the academic staff at CCSU in 1966.
