i got a question. i have a nitro, and i seen your last comment. what are skid plates? im planning on taking it to Ocracoke in NC. i live in New Bern,NC. but there im going to be going a lot of beach driving with sand. this is my first time. will it mess up my car?

@deeber223 , u dumb - the asskicking 4 cylinder (VM motori 2,8 crd turbodiesel) is about 100x better than the us specific old 6cyl eng. it gives u a fuel consumption of small car, almost the same power as 3,5 petrol (!) and much better torque....

nice car what engine size? american>? for some reason dodge seem to put 4cyl diesels in uk models which is a shame, urs sounds good though!

Awesome! Thanks for the info! A good friend of mine bought one about a month ago and really likes it, but his is the R/T and I dont all that stuff, although I love my Avenger R/T. But I found a great deal on one that I am going to look at tomorrow!

I wish I had a reason to buy one! How long have you had it? How many miles? Any issues? I have a 08 Avenger right now, but my wife needs a new vehicle and she likes my car, so I would like to give mine to her and get one of these...would you recommend it?

I have had it for about 2.3 years, have 38,000 miles and I have had 2 problems with it but both were my falt. the sarter got some saind in it because i dont have skid plates and 2 days ago I had the ac on for 2.5 hours while on the beach driving and overheated the rear pumpcan, I never run the ac wen 4x4ing on the beach and dont have anny go rong. that was because my fiance did not like the bugs biting her. I would recommend it because it is a good 4x4 and a great street truck.

1st the definition off roading is to be off paved or public roads.
2nd there were people who have gotten stuck because there is some deep saind because this is a beach
