@richwfd2002 Me emotional? If I am a healthy human being I will have emotions. Emotions must be managed by the pre-frontal cortex! Otherwise they can lead to faulty reasoning. What is your excuse? Have you read Peter Hitchens book, "Rage against God", which refutes his brother's "emotional" & faulty atheistic thought. Peter, as was C.S. Lewis, were atheists. Lewis was atheist, then theist, finally Christian. Lewis was no fool. Nor was J. R.R. Tolkien(Lord of the Rings) nor was Christ a madman.

@richwfd2002 As to the Virg Birth: Need it be mentioned in every Gospel? Re Genesis: The first 11 chapters of Genesis are not history, but an explanation of Man + evil. Re Slavery: St. Paul certainly advises slaves how to conduct themselves, but does not approve slavery in se. Most of the Old Law was disciplinary law; law fit for the times only. Ten Commandments are part of human nature. Christ communicated by His words & deeds, recorded in writing. Language is always unclear; so the Pope!

@awesomegunz What about the fact that the gospels give differing geneologies for Joseph or that only 2 of the gospels mention the "virgin birth"? What about the differing orders of creation in Genesis? Why does Jesus tacitly condone slavery by prescribing how to treat servants/slaves? Why does the buy bull claim that god is unchanging and you want to throw out OT law but keep the 10 commandments? Either way, your god is an inept communicator. You ignore this for emotional reasons.
