@BillDFC Not as long as 1 Scot remains alive.

Well there's a lot of evidence that the saxons just ethnically cleansed most of the Britons, why would Welsh mean 'alien' if they were integrated. Some stains don't come off.
-
No, the English are also Celtic, do you think all those Britons that lived in England just buggered of to Wales and Cornwall? They married the incoming Saxons and adopted their language.
-
Yes, but the English were not even in the place at that time. They were still various Germanic trives (Angles, Saxons, Jutes) living in northern Germany and Denmark at that point in history.
You are referring to the ancient Britons whose descendents are today the Welsh and the Scots to a certain extent. You cant draw parallels between two millenia ago and today.
-
you're all liars....Scotland, Wales and England are all one unified nation....before the Roman invasion the ancients named it [Albion]
Scotland despite them. We will never submit to English tyranny.

Heh, I am not even slightly Scot, and this is one of the most beautiful songs of all time. It is one of the tunes that makes me want to learn bagpipes.
