Police: Man Set Girlfriend on Fire

A New Haven man has appeared in court to answer to charges that he poured an accelerant and set fire to his girlfriend, who suffered burns on up to 40 percent of her body. (Nov. 17)

This has nothing to do with racism. The guy is human pond scum for doing something so horrific as setting an innocent woman on fire. Especially over being caught being inappropriate with a 12 yr old kid. They should have also included attempted molestation (1 account) and attempted murder (1 or maybe 3 accounts) as well as covering all the fees this woman is stuck with.

This guy shouldn't be let off easy. Depending on the burns I'm thinking 10-20 or maybe he'll like be lit on fire himself.

What he did was wrong, but, maybe that woman and daughter really got on his nerves a lot of times. Maybe that little girl lied about him molesting her. Maybe he just couldnt take anymore and he just said (fuck yall). Maybe he wasnt a good father and they kept throwing all of his past in his face or maybe they did nothing wrong, maybe he was the only wrong one.

I'm in a pretty bad mood right now as it is, so hearing about horrible shit like this puts me in a borderline psychotic rage. I don't even understand why I watch the news or go online when I'm in a bad mood. It usually doesn't bode well for me when I do.

Whatever. The guy responsible for burning his family like that WILL get taken care of in jail, so I probably shouldn't worry about it all that much.

Regardless of his mental health, the fact remains that he STILL burned his own girlfriend and his own child. That is enough of a reason for me to want to enact vigilante justice. And if ANYTHING like this happened to ANY family member of mine, I wouldn't be here talking about how I WANT to do it. I would beat the one responsible to near-death and make him turn himself in. Yes, I am very protective of my family. I give them shit a lot of the time, but nobody EVER hurts them and gets away with it.

i agree this man is insane and needs to be away taken out of society,and i understand my view might change if he had done this to a family member of mine,but as an objective person who is watching this i wanna make a careful effort not to let my reason give way to how despicable his acts were. one,it wont fix the problem,it will simply lay the burden of it on my head, and two,if he really is that batshit crazy he cant grasp the value of the retaliation and there isnt any satisfaction in that.

But regardless, I still believe that ALL people who do shit like this deserve the worst punishment. Anybody that burns their own girlfriend and child like that doesn't need to live.

I was literally sickened by the audio tape, and I didn't even KNOW what was going on at the time. I wasn't listening to the news when it was on at the time, and I was repulsed by this.

Does wanting to beat a criminal that burned his own girlfriend and child alive into quadriplegia make me a racist? Because I hold the same opinions about ANYBODY that does evil things like that, ESPECIALLY to their own family, and ESPECIALLY to children. Both the girl and the child are fucking ruined for LIFE because of his evil acts.

Give me 5-10 minutes with the cowardly piece of shit that did this shit.... the beating that will ensue will make him WISH he died.
