RBTC - The RBTC is a audio development designed to give your single coil style pickups an edge, a fat, smooth, quality edge. It does this extremely well.

It's a small high quality audio circuit housed in a plastic box filled with it's components and a resin compound to protect them. It's passive, which means it has no battery or other power source, so it's very quiet. It's made from very high quality components to give an excellent transparent sound. Each unit is hand-made, tested and packed for despatch.

The RBTC has been developed from the ground up specifically for use with Stratocaster style guitars equipped with Single Coil style pickups( LACE, Dimarzio,Fender, Seymour Duncan etc ). t will work with any pickups but is recommended for use with single coils rather than full humbuckers.

  • Clark,

    I just have a couple questions .........

1.) i have listened to your clips and like the way the lace silvers react to your rbtc has a very cool tone .......... i have a friend here in los angeles that got a guitar that had the rbtc in it he found out by taking it apart did not know up till that point but i play it before we knew and it was very blackmore like .......... my question is how does the adjustment work on the rbtc just curious .............................

  • @joebonni I've sent you a message via YouTube which answers your 3 questions about the RBTC.

  • Hi,

All sound samples seem to be taken with Lace Silver Sensor pickups. Do you have a sound sample with a normal Strat? I have a Mexican that I bought 10 years ago, and I would like to hear the effect with that. Also, it would be nice if you had an on/off sound sample (I'm not talking about the clean sound on the mixing board).

    Thanks

  • If you check my web site under the RBTC there are some samples by customers with different guitars and setups. I have some new clips coming soon and some are with standard pickups, also some which are Jazz related!

  • question #2

can the rbtc be connected to both pickups and if so will it have a good impact on the treble pickup as well ...................

    thanks clark

  • Just amazing sound when you switch to neck pickups!! i can´t understand why people rate you video whit just two or three stars...mabye they don´t understand how good this is...and what a awsome sound you get out of that guitar. Keep up the good work!!

  • x657uls:These people should contact us if they have a problem. That has not happened at all. These rather shy customers, seemingly prefer to be the annoyomous posters claiming they've been "scammed" or worse, so they can't be taken seriosuly for really very obvious reasons. Think about it! Their defamatory comments will be removed and we will block their further comments. FJAMods is not an RBTC customer, so quite simply he cannot have a complaint about our products. Thank you.

  • Thanks The amp used for this was the ENGL Blackmroe Head, and a LACE pickup strat, so it's close to the current tone I think.

For the 70's clip a Marshall was used which sounds closer to that era.

The RBTC is making the sound fat you can hear a switch to the neck at 1:30 where it's more pronounced. RBTC is all about smooth fat tone.
