Yes! You can optically zoom/ re-focus while recording in HD!!! Watch my "Mississippi State University 2010" video testing. (DIGIC 4 processor inside!)

I have this camera and when I uploaded the videos to my computer, they wont play. I dont think i have the right file or format or..whatever to play them. Can anybody tell me what i need?

Lumix TZ7 can use optical zoom while recording videos + stereo mics but where this one can use digital zoom only & mono audio recording.. (if still pictures r ur main target then go for this, canon the best)

Does this have auto focus movie mode? So it focuses? Does the Lumix ZS3?

i am looking for a compact digital camera with good picture quality but mainly a good video function. it shouldnt be more expensive than 250 euro (364 us dollar) what would u recommend?
