but I'm thinking the pit for this vid was better...

nordonia was better

and at shotgun: the song is meant to be a comic showcase...

he doesn't have the best voice... but he's a great actor :D

Very nicely done. Espacially great job in hitting the last few notes of the song. I'm doing this show at my school, believe it or not. I'm Paul! Also the priest during the wedding scene, the haberdasher, and ensamble. 4 for the price of one! LOL! Anyway, great job with this song. 5'd.

certainly not the operatic baritone of Alfred Drake or Brian Stokes Mitchell, typically found in this role. Made the song more of a comic showcase than a vocal one.

He's sooooo cute. It's unfair. :)

Wow, I'm very VERY surprised that they didn't tone down any of the sexually suggestive material. Its hilarious, and he's absolutely superb in that role, but usully, high schools can't get away with that much. Even in our COMMUNITY production of this, the innuendos weren't so *ahem* blatant. But brava! Its refeshing to see such talent and to see that there is some school district, SOMEWHERE, that isn't ridiculously prude.

At first he seemed "wrong" for the role... reedy tenor, a bit swishy... but his kid is a fantastic performer who makes the song his own. He is indeed awesome.
