  • I am sure Schoenberg regretted putting the piano in the score. I am sure he would have appreciated and heeded your expert advice.

  • Propably Schönbergs best orchestral work

  • What great movie soundtrack music. Such an array of emotions, sensations, thoughts. Anyone know of any pieces in this style that remain contemplative and gentle??

  • It is a powerful piece of music. Very powerful.

  • I am a contemporary classical pianist, and even though I'm not featured heavily in this work, it's still a beautiful piano part. If it is in the score, Schoenberg absolutely intended for it to be performed.

  • AMAZING AND SUPERB PERFORMANCE OF THIS OBSCURE MASTERPIECE.

THANK YOU. MAY *EVERYONE* HEAR THIS.

  • This piece evolves radically new styles of orchestral thinking. A real masterpiece - one of the greatest things I have ever, EVER heard (points of reference - late monumental Villa-Lobos, late monumental Revueltas, late monumental Charles Ives.

  • He only fell into the black hole of serialism because he was so brave. An Icarus among Icaruses. Let us honour him.

    My favourite piece is "Gurrelieder".
