What great movie soundtrack music. Such an array of emotions, sensations, thoughts. Anyone know of any pieces in this style that remain contemplative and gentle??

It is a powerful piece of music. Very powerful.

I am a contemporary classical pianist, and even though I'm not featured heavily in this work, it's still a beautiful piano part. If it is in the score, Schoenberg absolutely intended for it to be performed.

AMAZING AND SUPERB PERFORMANCE OF THIS OBSCURE MASTERPIECE.
THANK YOU. MAY *EVERYONE* HEAR THIS.

This piece evolves radically new styles of orchestral thinking. A real masterpiece - one of the greatest things I have ever, EVER heard (points of reference - late monumental Villa-Lobos, late monumental Revueltas, late monumental Charles Ives.

He only fell into the black hole of serialism because he was so brave. An Icarus among Icaruses. Let us honour him.
My favourite piece is "Gurrelieder".
I am sure Schoenberg regretted putting the piano in the score. I am sure he would have appreciated and heeded your expert advice.
