The Intel® Learning Series is a collection of hardware, software, content, infrastructure, and training - all purpose-built for education. Since they are produced by local manufacturers, vendors and retailers, they are not sold directly by Intel. Instead, Intel provides the Product Reference Designs and development requirements necessary for these manufacturers to create Intel-powered and Learning Series-enabled PCs and products.

The whole idea from Intel's point of view is add value to education, through a product that is very kid friendly, with the right hardware and software tools. But within the computer frame work and a class room setting. The Intel class mate Pc comes with a host of administrative tools, that allow for easy monitoring of the system by educators, and parent, to ensure child safety.

The Whole Class mate project comprises of 500 alliance members , from content creators, textbook publishers( McGraw Hill) , accessory providers(Lego), local OEMs and more.

These products are optimized to work with each other and are designed to enable others to easily implement and manage 1:1 eLearning environments. Explore the Product Directory to find products, services, and vendors in your region

  • Glad to hear it's running windows 7 since windows XP loses support in 2014. There would be no point in having these if you couldn't keep them around for a little bit longer. Very nice review.
