This is a tank track that I built and aligned using expression 2 in wiremod. The code consists of trig and some clever array manipulation that i've picked up on and improved. The chip is overclocked and runs at 100% on the opcode, which will be improved when I figured out what the hell I am truly going to use this for.

  • Do something better than just using a circle for the track shape.

  • I call it an oval, and I have I just haven't uploaded a video of it. I basically posted this to just show people that applyforce can be used for many things.

Can't believe that you actually can make such stuff in gmod. I can't even make something that is near as awesome as that :( Probably because i'm a noob xD

  • How To make it,plz tell me

  • @redreaper2020 500 Ops is around 10% E2 Capacity, if he has 100%, it must be around 5000 Ops or so...

  • Brilliant!

If you would like to attempt to reduce Ops, a good way is to group all the operations that have similar propertires in variables, then use the variables.

For example if you are going to use "Z+$Z" more than once, doing DZ = Z + $Z will save you some ops

  • @liOVERLOADil one would imagine assraping lag due to all the floating props and the 500+ ops it probably runs.

  • How well does this work in multiplay?

  • I still haven't figured this out. Translating track force to the body is tricky, even with offsetforce().

Though I'm not using arrays :(

  • epic!

  • LOVE THIS SONG

  • @omicronium can be used for many things... but not climbing stairs? how cheap

  • Would it be at all possible to supply a download of the E2 file so i can have a look-see at how to use the applyforce function to do this?
