Viola Spaces no 2 - Ghosts - Garth Knox

"Viola Spaces" is a series of 8 pieces by Garth Knox. Each one explores one special string technique. This one is played with the bow very far down the fingerboard (sul tasto), which gives a very "windy" sound, full of air. It's hard not to play on the side of the instrument when you do this, so I thought I'd make this part of the piece. The sounds are kind of spooky, so its called "Ghosts".

The Reason Why This is Awesome and Sounds Quiet is Because He Is Playing the Viola Without any Rosin on the Bow. Without Rosin The Bow Almost Makes No Noise And Garth Knox Being Imaginative Decided to See what he could do anyway
