  • Ahhhh, this is almost not at all helpful. I'm trying to do Daryl at a local theatre, but what with the content censoring for a high-school production and the fact that it's a high-school (or middle-school) production, I'm just not getting any help from this. Oh, and half the male characters are female, even when the joke is that they ARE male (Joe E. Brown in drag, anyone?)

  • ....................Listen, sweetheart.

You should consider a career other than acting. Say, a weatherperson. Because your ability to state the obvious is phenomenal.

  • gahh

Joe E. Brown was my character and i frickin hated that dress... but i think some of the things that were taken out shouldnt have been like the kiss between Joe E Brown and Olivia... that would add to it and make Oberon more jealous... but some of the vulgar stuff ... hmmm....

  • Hey, I was told to play it the way I was. When I tried nervous I got contradicted. Mainly cuz I was nervous. I mean it's hard ofr a girl to play a guy, espically in a hellish HS production where the students judge one another.

  • Oh, and the person playing Daryl is, no offense, a bit wooden, whilst I always saw him as nervous and adoring when Jack Warner is around, but annoyingly officious when he's not.

  • the one who threw a tantrum

  • zee Austrian who vrote ze play? lol

  • oh, y'know, latin, clarinets...

it took a lot of brainwork. xD

    my character was reinhardt.

  • the yes man.

    in the play?

  • Daryl??
