The engine is very un-stressed stock.. Search for GT8 celica to see what can be done to a stock 1UZ.. He has Water injection and lots of other supporting mods, but the motor is untouched internally.. around 400rwkw from memory..

The setup cost around 5k from memory.. There is a turbo kit available now too. If I did it again, I would go that way. I have a 2.5L manual TT now ;)

Hi Jibby, I have seen you post on lextreme.

No dyno figure just yet, i have just shift kitted and cooled the transmission.. Should be tuned in the next few weeks..

@taicr80 hey i was wondering what's the difference between a turbo and supercharged soarer v8 performance wise, and is it safe for a 1991 soarer v8. I recently bought one and am really pleased with the car but still wont more power but I'm afraid of damaging the engine, any advice.

The V2 on my UZ is so much quieter than that! but if you're looking for blower noise, then that's a different story. great setup by the way, I love it.
