Russia cleans up after NATO's '99 bomb fest

Russia has sent 60 bomb disposal experts to Serbia to help remove explosives dropped by NATO in 1999. The sappers will work in the mine-infested area around the airport at Nish. It was heavily bombed during NATO's campaign against Serbia in the wake of the Bosnian war.

The Russian military was on its knees in 1999 led by the criminal drunk Yetslin. It is in better shape today, but also show gross defiencies in the 2008 Georgia conflict. The Airforce didn't even send out reconnaissance planes or use satellite technology to deal with Georgain AA. They just flew in blind, and had a number of planes shot down as a result. I am not even sure the pilots could fly at night.

@aviomaster: That is a nice fantasy if you're a misguided Russian nationalist. Russia did virtually nothing to defend Serbia from the U.S/NATO rape in 1999. The only thing they did was play good cop for NATO, which was demonstrated clearly in June 1999 when Russia told Serbia to accept all NATO terms.
