B.F. Hexapod terrain adaptation test, using p.Brain locomotion engine and 3DOF gimbal contact sensor. In this test, the gait delay = 0.0, leg lift = Off-Road, leg transition speed = 1.2s.

  • What you don't realize is that walking in circles, tipping over boxes, and most especially traversing loose terrain ARE purposeful demonstrations.

    You, yourself, could not flip a switch or get an item if you could not stand, use your feet, identify a wall, or bend your elbows.

    AI is in its infancy, and as more of these programmers discover more functionality, things like getting the robot to move around will be masteries, not experiments, and the bots can begin doing more useful things.

  • Ash parc, todo es cuestion de tiempos, cuando dominen esto, podran hacer mas que un robot arana.

    Esta muy bakano el proyecto, severo dominio del tiempo, cada milisegundo fue perfecto, pero me parece que las patas demora su segundo y medio en bajar.

    I like what they did with the sound.

    It's very creative and artistic. Not necessarily technically accurate, but definitely more valuable than a simple audio recording of the actual robot.

  • teach it to flip back over if it's on its back, spiders and crabs can do this and I think this bot could too.
