@jahabean There are two different ways to setup your launch control. In eCtune, the rev limiter is set to cut fuel, which is the way that our cars come from the factory (it's the safest, which is referred to as "2 step")...but, you can go into the settings, and change the rev limiter to cut ignition instead, so it will keep dumping fuel, which will ignite in the turbo manifold, keeping the turbo spooled up (known as anti-lag).

@streetracerjbs253 Yes, it's quite a troublesome medical condition... lol, it's not all that easy to hold a camera that steady when you have shockwaves coming at you.

i still dont understand how ppl get there cars to backfire i 2step at 4k boosted and dont come nowhere near backfiring

@jahabean It's hard on your manifold and turbo since you're moving the combustion outside of the cylinders, so I have it switched back over to fuel cut, to avoid hurting anything. I just did this to see what it was like for myself, haha.

@Herooftheday64 I hope you aren't launching with fuel cut.. Revving it is one thing, because fuel cut is very lean, but ur at a low load so its ok. But when you engage the clutch you instantly switch to high load but you're still lean. That causes huge problems.
Id rather crack my manifold than have to rebuild my engine

@4B11T You've been misinformed. Normal production cars use a fuel cut for the rev limiter. It's impossible for it to be a lean mixture, as there is no fuel to be ignited within the cylinders.
