My Peace Corps friend, Elizabeth, lived in the same province as I did. There are three videos of her church group singing to her, this is one of them. The red clothing says that they are Baptist, historically that area has been the Lamba tribe but I hear them singing in Bemba. Ba Lesa means 'God' and chawarma means 'wonderful'. You get the idea of the song...

  • This choir was in Copperbelt Province, between Kabwe and Ndola, not far from the dual carriageway (the main 4 lane highway).
