The crime demands justice; no excuse for violent crime. But no NATO ally defines justice in such a draconian way as we do. We are for locking criminals up and throwing away the key, an sad heritage from our Puritan past and our evangelical, hateful practice of Christianity; listen to the viscous, demonic rhetoric of the Tea Party, the 'pat robertson christians,' the uber-conservative majority of the Republican Party. They cry out for harsher punishment, a vindictive approach to justice.

@heyhom thankyou. He went to my church. Elementary school, middle school and was going to go to my middle school. I saw him everyday of the week for 6 years. i talked to him at school the day of the incident. I know that he made a terrible mistake. He does too(i have talked to him over the phone multiple times). He laughed at school that day. He smiled and was just like her was everyday. I do not know why he did what he did and it will confuse me forever. Just please be nice about the situation.
