only thing i dont like about the mak. is the safety ,its so different than what im used to.i can deal with the mag release

How much will it cost to make mine look like yours mine is not in that bad of condition but yours looks new.. Or better yet chrome or gold plated? Any one have any idea of the price range?

@JayrDelafamilia The only experience in reconditioning that I have was an inquiry to Smith and Wesson about my model 19. Their estimate was around $250, but that included replacing certain internals.

I read where these pistols have a free floating firing pin, which means if you dropped it on the ground,it will fire , where as a modern pistol would not,

@federalwarhawk At least one importer (CAI) is purported to have done drop tests on the Bulgarians, all of which passed.

@RAWB3RY It's in rdiculously good shape. I answered a posting on a forum--the seller said it was in "good" condition. When I saw it I couldn't believe my luck.
