Starting a Citroen DS after a 27 year rest...

This car was off the road for 27 years. The engine came from the other DS (See video "Engine swap...") which was also off the road for about 20 years.
I borrowed the "Sweet" from Dave's Farm (Thanks Dave). I hope he's not gonna sue me :oD
If you work on cars and you don't know davesfarm, you are missing something...

Oh yeah...I used to have one. Wish I can someday buy an old one a restore it. Adjustable suspension and would run with three tires. Yeahh baby!!! Ha, ha, ha !!!

I drive a Citroen DS. I have had Citroens all of my life.

I have driven Citroens (& the DS) all over the world. After a period of a month the fuel vapourisation away form the carb means that several cranks are required to draw the fuel through the system before it fires, and playing with the choke/throttle. He said he "swept"? it

I think that this car has either been started before this was shot, or a sufficiently massive! (coil off) crank was performed prior to this to "totally" prime it .
