Back in the days, Osibisa was a local club band in Drammen, Norway, before they got the brake they truly deserved. I think they were all refugees comming together through the music. My step father had the first disco in Norway, this was in his collection and became one of my favorite bands, spent many hours of my youth with this record.
I think the artist for the covers of the early albums was Roger Dean. He did a few bands in the 70's, the band Yes being one of them. He has a website.
Enjoyed this many times while serving in SE Asia in early 70's. Cassette player with old coffee can over the speaker enhanced the 'stereophonic' effects. This brings back many good memories of a steamy time in the jungle. Thanks for posting.
does anybody know who painted the cover?that bug-elephant appears on another cover, the one for welcome home album, so i guess it is the same artist. he makes wonders with his imagination.

@majBLINDapeMONLLER : Its Roger Dean! The famous painter and illustrator that made all the art-works for the prog-rock band YES.
