I saw the video and it's obvious that both were out of line but you're RIGHT that she posed NO foreseeable threat.
She WAS taunting him and acting disorderly but she's a senior friggin citizen! They have trouble with REMOTE COTROLS for crying out loud!!!
If he SERIOUSLY thought she posed a threat then he should go BACK to the Police Academy AFTER he gets laughed off the force! (You can imagine his buddies razzing him on the job. "Taze anybody from the Old Folks Home today man?")
