Just for your information WPTD turned off their analog transmitter on May 1 and switched their digital transmitter's real channel from 58 to 16 .

Interesting what kind of antenna system were you using when this was recorded and were you on an elevated location such as a hill or a tall building . For the record WPTD-DT is currently temporary transmitting on channel 58 and will switch back to channel 16 when they turn off their analog equipment this June .

Don't have a clue. It's just a standard VHF/UHF rooftop antenna I installed about 15 years ago. Most evenings, I will get a signal for WDTN, but nothing strong enough to register a picture, There is nothing unique geographically about where I live. In fact, my house sits kind of low, making reception for stations to the east (WHIZ, WSFJ and WOUB) impossible.

I know over here south of Dayton I can receive WBNS analog (10) with a set of rabbit ears . I think WPTD-DT (16.1) shares the same tower with WKEF-DT (22.1) , WRGT-DT (45.1) and WBDT-DT (26.1) and low power analog WRCX (43) .

Likewise, an analog signal (of varying quality) for WDTN comes in fairly regularly on the far east side.
