@drftzamurai Corvette was purchased from a dealer ship with 47K miles for 10,000.00 American dollars. The 240 was purchased privately with 100,000K miles on it for 7,000.00 American dollars. The 240 is on its 3rd full motor because the 1st 2 blew up. The vette is on the orig. motor. I would say cost is a wash in this case.

The better "race track car" not drag car is the 240SX but the C4 Corvette is fast in a straight line. Above 80MPH the C4 has major problems with suspension and is too unbalanced to drive at high speeds.

@carson0425 the ka24de in the 240 is different than the one in the truck........ Yet another 240 noob. Also, the 240 had the ka24 in it before the trucks did. Kind of funny isn't it? But you already knew all this. The ka24's in the 240 were built in japan, the truck motors in mexico. There are many different parts in the truck motors compared to the 240 motor. More research, thanks.
