My grandpa recently died and now my grandma is all alone in this nursing home and everytime I hear this I think of her just sitting there all by herself. Everytime I talk to her she says she mostly just sits around and cries. This song breaks my heart almost as much as that does.

Can't help but crying when I hear this song, it reminds me of how I felt when my dad and grandma's died. John was an excellent singer, performer and writer, it was as if he knew just what everyone was feeling and he invoked all of those feelings in his songs.

John - you left us way too early. If only you would have flipped that fuel switch. If only you would have checked your fuel. But, we don't live in the garden of eden anymore; it's not a perfect world. Little mistakes can lead to big tragedies.
