actually i believe i like the video work better than the song itself. i like the song, but the video is first rate and unusually artistic. i appreciate the fast editing playing off of the slow melody and lyric. also, excellent use in my opinion of negative space in so many of the shots. i think the song might be more user friendly if the words had been printed under "more info" to the right of the screen. some in the room were hearing " i know you don't care"...old age i guess. well done.

When I was halfway through editing the video, I had the same dread, I even drove across and borrowed the War of the Worlds CD from my Dad!

I never played it in the end because I was so sure that it was just the chorus that sounded similar and so many songs sound similar, eh? After viewing your comment and listening to the song on youtube just now, the verses are very similar too! Birds flying south, etc.

Ah well. Still think it's a great song and I'm only responsible for what you see, not hear!

What an excellent piece of work all round. A film maker who's an absolute craftsman in his field and an artist who is also an absolute craftsman in what he does. Dave's not only a superb singer/songwriter but he's also a very good actor.

I like this one ! the artist is acting out the mood of the song and the shots interpret this right alongside. Though no 'story' to interpret(as such)- a good presentation for artist and yourself. One to watch:-)
