Seems like everybody is used to the version sung in a lower register but the version he did on that show was the one released in Canada as a single on the ERO label (45507 /12507).

@discoring68 Ho la vrsione maxi single che ho acquistato nel 1987 trovando il disco in un negozio di dischi specializzato in svizzera. Allora normalmente parlando in termini tecnici lui iniziava il brano 1/8 più basso e poi dalla seconda strofa si alzava di 1/8. Qui invece ha deciso di partire 1/8 più alto dall'inizio. Minchia se mi faveva impazzire sto pezzo. Lo tengo caro fra la mia collezione dance degli anni 85. Meritava di più e vederlo li a fare il corista mi dispiace un pò. Grande Silvio

He sings high pitch here, than the original he recorded. I just wonder why he didn't make it this way. I think i like this than the original that he make his voice low. He got a nice voice and I think he is not better making a base out o his voice. He is tenor when it comes to voice quality

in questo video silver ha la voce + "alta" rispetto alla classica versione.. mitico.. riusciva a giocare con la sua voce in 1 maniera sorprendente!!!
