Lady Calls 911 Over Cold French Fries

On July 29, 2009, a lady identified only by her first name (Gail) ordered some french fries at the Li'l Chick roadside restaurant at 2901 W Bay Street, Garden City, Georgia. She then complained that she didn't like her fries and demanded a new order. According to store owner Joseph W. Weeds, Gail had eaten most of her fries at that point. Li'l Chick refused to conduct a fry exchange or issue a refund, at which point Gail called 911. The police officer who responded to the scene resolved the situation by giving Gail $6.00 out of his own pocket. Here is Gail's 911 call.

I like how she says her whole phone number, but they bleep the last two numbers- only for the operator to repeat them to confirm, xD

I can't believe the dispatcher actually went along with that. There was a very similar 911 call where someone wasn't happy with their order from McDonalds, but the dispatcher told them they didn't consider that an emergency.

Cold fries are NOT an emergency. No wonder why we have stories where someone asks for a police officer to come to an incident, but they can't. Why can't they? They're too busy dealing with cold french fries.

@Sallyallie89 cold fries are not an emergency but if someone is actually calling 911 over fries, then something else could be wrong with them. It would be bad if they wrote it off as a dumb bitch and then she dropped dead. Sucks to have to waste manpower on that kind of stuff though.
