Speaker Pelosi on Health Care for 10 Million Children

Today the House will consider H.R. 3963, a revised version of H.R. 976, State Children's Health Insurance Program (SCHIP) Reauthorization which the President vetoed. Like the original bill, this legislation continues to provide health care coverage for 10 million children. However, the revised bill also contains some new provisions to meet concerns that have been raised in the following four areas: 1) high-income children; 2) illegal immigrants; 3) coverage of adults; and 4) children moving from private insurance to SCHIP. Below are highlights of some of the bill's provisions.

Articles I and II of H.R. 799 accuse Cheney of purposely manipulating intelligence to deceive Congress and the American people about a fabricated threat of Iraqi weapons of mass destruction and about an alleged relationship between Iraq and al Qaeda, respectively. Article III charges Cheney with openly threatening aggression against Iran absent any real threat to the United States. All three articles say Cheney's actions have damaged our national security interests.

After losing billions and billions and billions of dollars on this war of profits, we have not appointed one, not a single special prosecutor on any of case that's been in front of the Oversight Committee.

What's worse is that we have a CIA agent that has been outed by Administration officials. A treasonous act and we're not even challenging them in the courts.

What Congress needs to do is remove secret service protection from former Presidents and Vice Presidents(Bill won't have to worry because Hillary is going back to the White House anyway) and when Bush gets out of office then turn his ass over to the "people's court" and we'll see how he fares in the face of "we the people" since impeachment is off the table..
