@oneblach One was self propelled, the other was catapulted into the air. One project's results are easily reproduced, the other isn't. One flew in public, the other in private. One is considered worldwide as the "father of aviation", the others only to Americans.

@mfunke Brazilian invented an airplane? Da Vinci designed one centuries ago. Wright brothers first flew in 1903, Santos-Dumont 1906.

Holland the freest nation? You're a bit misinformed. In Holland you can't carry any weapon (inluding natural pepperspray or stungun) and you will get prison if you defend yourself even if self defense is recognized by court. That's really even if. Holland is sort of a posterchild for the advancement of socialism it seems to me. In reality it's not that far from nazi Germany. Lived there for 22 years. I know it's comforting to think there's nations more sane but it's not reality.
