From the works of Living Enlightened Master Paramahamsa Nithyananda. In this clip taken from discourse titled, "Bhagavad Gita -- Chapter 1: Shastras, Stotras and Sutras", Swamiji talks about the three categories of spiritual scriptures. There are three kinds of human beings; some who are head oriented, some heart oriented and others, who are being oriented. To fulfill every kind of human being, our rishi or sages have created three kinds of literature -Sastra, Stotra and Sutra. Sastra gives us the intellectual understanding, Stotra are expressions of the emotions, while Sutra gives us techniques for the being level experiences. The complete discourse or the complete Bhagavad Gita set may be ordered online at www.lifeblissgalleria.com

  • From Clip: Unless you have intellectual clarity your faith will have no stability. Your faith will be easily shaken. Intellectual conviction is essential.

  • Swami is it possible to be head, heart and being oriented all at the same time? if so, how is the best way to maintain and balance these three states on a daily basis. With deep love and respect in your divine guidance, Thank you.
