I tried this method thinking it would be a less harmful way of adding a "pop of colour" to my natural hair (med brown). This dryed my hair out so much and I could not even get the knots out with a comb, wide-tooth comb, or even a brush. It was personally the worst thing I have ever done to my hair! There's nothing worse than watching your hair being ripped out as you try to comb it out gently, especially after growing it for 2+ years :(

what is the camera that you use?
Can you use like regular chalk? You know the sidewalk one?

@GrAsssHoppers1 I would say no. I mean you can.. but artist chalk pastels have more concentrated pigments in them. If you use regular chalk it will end up just looking really pasty.

there was a girl who did this on her dark hair and she said it didnt work, i guess it should have been pointed out to use soft pastel CHALK... not oil pastel :)

@MsManicMakeup yes! I suppose I should of specified. I just thought people would catch it because of what I showed, but I should have labeled it.
