Luckly I was not in the air and the pilot had common sense to turn back!

I am a flight attendant of 13 years who has been diagnosed with Toxic Encephalopathy as well as diagnosed with "Aerotoxic Syndrome" by leading occupational and Environmental specialist in the USA. I have become completely disabled due to exposure to these toxic fumes at work on the Boeing 737. Very real problem, and a very real health issue for passengers and flight crew alike!!

Mobil should be forced to develop an oil without toxic components.

@basenflaus. You're right. The French company NYCO has already developed a less toxic oil, but it is not widely used. And the airlines should be forced to fit bleed air filters and contaminated air detectors.
