  • What a great pianist. The most amazing thing about this is that he is able to incorporate parts from Chopin's Revolutionary Etude into this, a jazz standrad, and still play it in his distinct soul jazz way, and without making it feel unnatural at all.

  • really nice. a lot of bud powell coming through with the coda. but then, who wasn't influenced by bud powell? yes, it's a shame the way the critics trashed this man's work. that gospel/funk really turned them off.
