Visual effects Miniature and CG test

Miniatures by Bill Pearson.. (Alien, Outland, Casino Royale, Outland..)
Shot on a Cannon 500D and comped in AfterEfffects..
Test to see if I could create a shot together in a rush..(4hrs)
Model Spaceship shot in Bill's workshop, Meteor's (rocks from my garden) and spacemen hanging on blue thread, shot out doors against a 2ft by 3 piece of blue card..
Dont think it sucks too much....

Hi, Davy? It was a miniature hanging around in Bill Pearsons workshop for some unrealised project and I thought it was a shame it had never been used in anything..

Bill is one of the best or should I say 'the best' in the world at Spacecraft miniatures..

The camera would have a stop of T22 therefore everything would be sharp, I would have thought..

That is fucking cool man. Good Job. I was looking to do something similar with a Borg Cube trying to make look like its passing by the viewer towards earth. I wanted to copy the camera movements of another video on youtube "Borg Cube Battle" but with my own Home-made model of a Borg Cube.
