Rainstorm sequencer on Novation Launchpad

More programming experiments on my Launchpad... A twist on a step sequencer to add a bit of unpredictability. Press buttons to send a note trigger falling in the column. Press to toggle bottom row lights... RED means play once and GREEN means repeat notes.
Probably would sound better with notes mapped across a scale instead of an 8 semitone range.... As before I used MIDI YOKE to pipe midi output from a Visual C++ program to Reasons midi input (Windows)

@JustDji - yep: the "playpad" version (see link in clip notes) has an ini file setting to set a scale. Cheers/J

thanks! no its not using ableton or max. it is a program i wrote myself in c++. there is a link to the source code in the clip info.

yeah I am pretty sure that should work, you'd just need to use something like Midi-Yoke to pipe the MIDI

@hotchk155 - Marvellous! I have to get a Launchpad, sample some Hang drum sounds and set the pad to an Akebono scale. That would be wonderful.

You're one step away from becoming a god, all that is needed is for you to implement remote for the launchpad ;)
