The visual confusion is on the ever increasing in length list of things to sort out.

Nice to hear it looks quite fun though, I've lost the ability to tell.

Yeah, I would reduce the backgrounds saturation or something so that it receeds more. This looks like a fun platformer so long as the levels don't get too repetative.

Looks like fun gameplay, though the graphics need some work. It's hard to tell what's moving when the only two layers are backdrop and foreground.
