I can see future, virtual reality video games creating an environment which induces the bodys' sleep paralysis.

@grawphiggins Sleep paralysis often leads to hallucinations of terror. The event takes place in your amigdala, which is responsible for the fear state. So yes, it has to do with sleep paralysis.
-
@Chrosn paranoid. You don't even understand the phenomenon and you talk without knowing.

@Ticktacktoe2 You fall asleep conscious. You let your body and brain fall asleep, while maintaining awareness. Just like in meditation. PM me if you want get more info on how to do this. You should/can feel hallucinations, change on respiration and hearthbeat, along with other stuff. Which aren't actually mandatory, sleep paralysis doesn't always occur. Calling it a method is just fail, the method is actually WILD: wake initiated lucid dream.

@IXxAmplifiedxX Dude, I've been having lucid dreams since a kid and get them often, I know what they are. I can't comprehend getting into a lucid dream using this method though. Like, do you just "pop" into a lucid dream? Is there something specific you see?
-
@Ticktacktoe2 Lucid dreaming is realizing you are dreaming in your dreams. You dont really "fall" into a lucid dream, you just realize that it is a dream, thus giving you the ability to control your dreams (with practice). Its like trying to recall how you ended up where you are once you're in a dream. You just dont know.

I also tried this once again last night but it still didn't work. Even with the arms over head- down- side technique after 50 min of lying down in my bed. I think my body realizes what I am doing and punishes me for it as well. Whenever I try this then give up after an hour - hour n half later I absolutely can not fall into dream stage and am constantly tossing and turning. I'll just try getting a lucid dream after I naturally get sleep paralysis then falling back to sleep.

I get sleep paralysis all the time. Whether it's before waking up or EVERY time I try to take a nap during the day. But what does it feel like/what do you see when you "fall" into a lucid dream. I have been in a lot of lucid dreams but only due to the fact that I realized I was in them. Also, changing the breathing pattern doesn't work for me. I have to focus all my energy on moving one finger. However snapping my neck to the left is really easy to do for some reason.

i've been trying to astrally project for about a month now and have only done it twice. both times were induced by sleep paralysis. My most previous OBE was last night when i woke up from a dream and had SP. I couldn't move my body which scared me for a second but i tried astrally projecting by rolling out of my body and it happened almost instantly and I was able to walk around my room and look back at my body. it was the sweetest thing i have ever been able to do, it was so freeing
