The year 2009 marks the 100th anniversary of powered flight in Canada. To celebrate this occasion, three different aircraft were painted up to represent these 100 years for the airshow circuit. They include an F-86 in a Golden Hawks scheme, a CT-114 representing the Golden Centennaires and a CF-18 in a special 100th anniversary scheme.

  • I saw that f-86 flying in formation with a cf-18 and one of those yellow prop trainers flying in low formation from my high rise balcony.. it was pretty awesome I was practically looking down at them and they were buzzing my apartment :)

  • Oh Boy Oh BOY! I'm on my way to 2010 show RIGHT NOW! So sad CF-18's can be there this year.

  • Great colors for the Centenial. That Hornet looked pimp.

  • Wow great

  • I love the Sabre and the centennial colors.

  • good vid, wicked choice of music dude!!

  • I saw these things the day before the airshow (Thursday I think it was) and they were sick!

I was kind of hoping that blue and gold one would be in honor of the blue bombers, but oh well.

  • Saw this at the CIAS. Beautiful!
