  • @Kylegibb1 Sexy beast.

  • You have to start on those high notes correctly at the beginning trumpets, that and some of the tuning was the only problem I had with it...

  • sounds really good to me x) i had to play this in 8th grade, my band teacher spent like every minute trying to teach this song to us because he liked this song so much ^^ it turned out alright though ^^ it was fun to play too xD

  • Knowing is half the battle! lol It's all good.

  • ...sorry about the "go kill yourself"

honestly, you called me on something i KNOW I'm bad at, and it pissed me off...and I'm an ass when I'm pissed off. so I try to find every little thing i can about what the other person says to disect, and try to make them look stupid...needless to say, I'm an ass... My Bad

  • No shit? Where and when did you march?

Me being a dick aside, I'm seriously interested.

And the way you speak sounds odly firmiliar

  • Just so you know.. I'm a trombone player, also play baritone.. and I started on trumpet. I marched 6 years of drum corps (should have been 9 but joined the military), I won DCI as well. In college I played trombone in a Kenton tribute band, along side several ex Kenton members..

Your band did do a good job with it the trumpets killed it though. The range is there, you just need to strengthen it and support it and it will be a million times better. I also love screaming trumpets, if done right.

  • How do I know? Well it sure isn't hard as hell to figure out what you AREN'T practicing. lol

I said "He sucks bad".. yes, you are right.. not a great criticism, and probably wrong, you don't suck bad.. but I did give you very valid criticism on my next post, take it as you will.

I have taught marching in hs bands and drum corps. I marched corps as well. Won DCI as well.. Not the point though. You have potential to be very good, just keep practicing, and work on what I mentioned. Good luck

  • @a53mp you presumptuous cock. How do you know what I practice, or what I apply to bettering myself as a musician?

I have NO problem taking criticism and applying it, but apparently I have to spell this out to you, "He sucks bad." is not criticism, it's being a self satisfied dick. the only way you're ever going to be taken seriously with your "criticism" is when you learn to make it...actual criticism.

GOD FORBID you EVER go into teaching.

    Kill yourself :)

    Good luck.
