@The5KORPIO That's what I was thinking....but then I also thought about the explosion caused by Flynn's reintegration with CLU ended up derezzing most of the surrounding area....part of which TRON was in right? So I'm not entirely sure if he was derezzed in that explosion or not....just a thought.....
Otherwise, happy to see he turned back to the Users side when he did fall in the sea though :)

To correct what nelliesbff said 9 months ago, the grid isn't actually the same place that Flynn visits in the original film. The grid is a virtual space he created on his own main frame in the arcade separate from the main ENCOM mainframe and not connected to any other system or computer in what is known as a 'closed system'. The fact that it is a closed system is one of the driving points of the film and why the digital Flynn cannot escape and why the real Flynn couldn't summon help.

@pmccptsoap Agreed. I don't think Flynn is afraid of any PERSON or thing, but I think he was afraid of seeing anything bad happen to those he cares about.

At 4:05 I just imagine Quorra's face and her smile, leaning against Sam...
I love that scene. What I also liked was that in the movie they didn't make the romance too obvious. I like that...
Many people will probably disagree with me but I love space for your own imagination.
