The owners live just south for Fort and they watch over it all the time they bought the property and the building in 2004. They will not do any tours or anything and its become annoying. The building are all to be ripped down.

The gates are always open to the grounds and pretty much all of the building have been busted into and doors are just wide open. You wont be able to contact anyone to organize anything as no one owns it right now, and whoever did/will wont want anyone coming in and such. Watch out for security driving by tho .. however ive been there 3 times in the last couple months without a single security car sighting

It makes me extremely sad to see it like this. There is so much history there and it was so well kept for so long, really is a shame. I spent three summers there as a cadet and definately have some good memories. I also had some odd experiences, maybe supernatural. Nothing frightening though!

@offthelinegt - I am trying to get a tour of the buildings for myself and a group of people and possibly do some film documentation before they are all torn down. @AndyCapp306 Yes, it's unfortunate that it's closed. Strangely, the owner seems to be a big secret. I've tried everything to reach them and have had no luck. I've even contacted the realty company, but have never reached anyone. I'd love to do a news story on it's history, but it's starting to look like that won't happen.

@GingerSnap1975 To my knowledge you're not allowed in there. I know that they used to use the place for cadet camp, however it's now completely closed.

@offthelinegt Did you have permission to go in? I've been trying to find out who to contact to get in there. I've been in before, but not with permission, so my time there was rushed. I'm wanting to do a news story on it (I currently work for a television network), but have no idea who to contact. Any information you could give me would be greatly appreciated.
