Duran Duran - You Can't Film This - O2 London - 12/12/11

I was asked by Nick Rhodes to Come to the O2 gig in London when he came to see The Girl panic set i built in Second Life. I was invited as a VIP guest as a bunch of my video's from second life are used by the band as back drops on there world tour. Met the band before it started, shook hands, said hello, did alot of smiling had a great time. Due to a mix up with tickets i had a VIP pass access all areas but i didnt get a seat ticket, which was fine. as i got to walk arround and see the gig from lots of different vantage points. But just as my videos were about to be played i got pulled outside by a couple of security guards and told your not aloud to film here. ok fine let me back in, no sorry your have to sort this out on main desk, said the security, I got angry and just went back in. But after that ever minute or so i got hasseled but security guards bit of a spoiler but the after show party made up for it. I had such a great time and will be for ever thankful for the invite and to Chrissey for making it happen. What a gig what a band, it was so cool to be there

Because of the security guards pestering me to stop filming every minute i had half my footage was damaged together with people jumping up and down i had to keep moving arround, so i got many different angels and edited it using multi cam in premiere so it looks colage like in places

Mn that reminds me of the stuff that happened over at Genero.TV :-). Still must have been an amazing event for you and getting kicked out is a better story for your grand-kids?
